I have the privilege of addressing you as mayor of a town that is not only a place on the map, but a home in the hearts of all who visit it. Here, in the heart of the Vega Baja, life has a different, leisurely rhythm; one marked by authenticity, tradition and human warmth.

Daya Nueva is much more than its rural landscapes and fertile fields; it is a town where stories have their own beat. However, the culture of Daya Nueva does not stop at the past. We are a town that lives and breathes literature. With more than fifty years of history, our Literary Contest is a landmark in the region and a tribute to the creativity and ingenuity of those who love words. This event, which brings together national and international writers, readers and neighbors, is a celebration of the artistic soul that pulsates in our tireless town and an appreciation of our roots.

Our land is also the cradle of flavors. Dayense cuisine, made with the fruits of our fertile garden and the love of those who work it, invites you to enjoy dishes that tell the stories of generations. From the freshness of our vegetables to the stews that fill the home with unique aromas, each bite is a tribute to our land.
